Legacy of The New Education Society

The New Education Society is a prestigious institution dedicated to delivering high-quality education and striving for excellence across all fields. Inspired by Napoleon Hill’s belief that “Cherish your vision and your dreams as they are the children of your soul,” the management of The New Education Society steadfastly follows its mission and consistently achieves remarkable milestones.

Founded with the sole purpose of serving humanity through education, New English School plays a pivotal role in addressing the diverse needs of students from all walks of life. The institution focuses on the holistic development of its students—nurturing their moral, intellectual, physical, and personal growth, regardless of their caste, color, or creed.

Established in 1959, The New Education Society was registered with the Charity Commissioner and received approval to establish the school in Ulhasnagar – 421004. It offered education in both Sindhi and English mediums. The Society was founded with immense dedication by the late Shri Vishamber Sharma as the President and late Shri G.S. Pamnani as the Secretary.

The New English School opened its doors in 1959, with late Shri G.S. Pamnani serving as the founding Principal. The school achieved remarkable success, with the first batch of students appearing for the SSC Board Examination in 1968 (Sindhi Medium) and 1972 (English Medium), both with 100% results.

From humble beginnings, New English School has grown into a prominent, multi- dimensional institution, contributing significantly to the development and transformation of Ulhasnagar. Establishing an English medium school during the early years was a daunting challenge. However, driven by a strong sense of social responsibility and a clear vision to make a lasting impact on education, Shri G.S. Pamnani faced numerous obstacles with unwavering determination. His tireless efforts eventually yielded tremendous success.

Over the years, New English School has expanded its educational services and now offers:

  • 16 divisions in the Primary Section (Standard I to IV)
  • 26 divisions in the Secondary Section (Standard V to X)
  • Kurla Camp Branch (established in 1972)
  • New English Junior College offering Science, Commerce, and Arts Faculty (Marathimedium) since 2003
  • New English Junior College, Kurla Camp for Commerce (2008)
  • New English Night Junior College for Commerce (2008)

In just 17 years, New English Junior College has become home to 4,800 students across Standards XI and XII. The college currently boasts one of the highest student enrollments in Information Technology and Bi-Focal subjects, such as Computer Science, Electronics, and SMR.

The school’s motto, “Knowledge is Power,” has been the driving force behind the commitment of the management committee to provide a conducive environment for the holistic development of students. In line with its mission, The New Education Society consistently embraces innovative approaches, ensuring access to the latest educational technologies and resources.

Looking ahead, The New Education Society is dedicated to ensuring that every student who graduates from its institution excels in society, emerging as a responsible and capable citizen of the country. Through our unwavering commitment to excellence, we remain steadfast in shaping the future of our students and continuing to contribute to the betterment of society.
